The expensive DIY solar mistake is buying panels first and finding out later that the inverter, batteries, and wiring do not fit them. This kit comes sized as a set: SunGold split phase inverter, LiFePO4 batteries, 415W panels, PV cable, mounting brackets, and breakers, chosen to work together.

Inverter watts decide how much can run at once. Battery kWh decides how long it runs. Panel watts decide how fast the batteries refill. Size from your loads, not from the biggest number on the box.
Grid tied solar without a battery shuts off when the grid does, by design. This kit is built around an off grid inverter and batteries, so the panels keep charging and your loads keep running whether or not the utility is up.
For a home, an electrician typically connects the inverter to a subpanel of the circuits you want backed up: refrigerator, well pump, lights, internet, medical equipment. Choosing those circuits is what makes a battery last through a long outage.
Usable energy is a little less than the rated kWh because of inverter losses. Plan with some margin.

You'll also need: battery cabling and a rack or enclosure if not already on site, conduit and wire for your runs, and a licensed electrician for any connection to a home panel, plus local permits.
How delivery works: the kit ships by freight from our distribution partner. Freight cost is calculated at checkout for your ZIP code. The carrier calls to schedule delivery, and someone needs to be there to receive it.
At delivery: inspect everything before you sign. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt, and send photos to support@chargeprodirect.com the same day.

Can I install it myself?
The panels, brackets, and battery rack are DIY friendly. Any connection to a home electrical panel should be done by a licensed electrician, with a permit.
Can I add more later?
Yes. The batteries are modular, so storage can grow. Check the inverter's limits for added panels before you buy more.
Will it run my central air?
It depends on the unit's starting surge and how long it runs. Many central air systems drain a 10 kWh battery quickly. Start with essentials and size up from there.

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging. A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns.
