The CS7N-705-TB-AG is Canadian Solar's flagship N-Type TOPCon bifacial panel — 705W rated with bifacial gain up to 850W. TOPCon cell architecture improves electron passivation compared to standard PERC, translating to higher efficiency and a lower annual degradation rate over the panel's 30-year lifespan.
At 705W, a 20-panel array delivers 14.1kW of nameplate capacity — appropriate for homes with high EV charging demand, whole-home backup systems, or properties looking to maximize production on limited roof space. Ships individually, so it can be used to top off an existing array or spec into a new design.

What is TOPCon and how is it different from PERC?
TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) improves electron passivation at the cell's contact points, reducing recombination losses. This delivers higher efficiency and a lower annual degradation rate — typically 0.4% vs. 0.5–0.55% for PERC — which compounds into more total energy over 30 years.
Can I mix this with lower-wattage panels in my array?
Mixing panel wattages in the same string is not recommended — the lowest-rated panel limits the string's output. If you're adding to an existing array, confirm string compatibility with your installer before ordering.
What inverter input range does this require?
At 705W with a ~45–50V Voc per panel, string voltage depends on how many panels you wire in series. Confirm your inverter's MPPT voltage window accommodates your planned string length.
