What exactly is B-Grade?
B-Grade panels have cosmetic blemishes — micro-cracks in non-cell areas, edge chips, minor surface marks — that don't affect electrical performance. They produce full rated wattage. The reduced warranty (2yr/10yr vs. 25–30yr) reflects the lower QC standard, not reduced power output.
Are B-Grade panels suitable for residential rooftop installs?
They function fine electrically, but the shorter warranty is a consideration. Most B-Grade buyers use them in ground-mount or commercial applications where appearance and long-term warranty coverage are less critical.
