This is a plug-in charger that uses a NEMA 14-50 outlet. If you don't have one, you'll need a licensed electrician to install a dedicated 50-amp circuit first. Tesla owners have two options for home charging: use the included Mobile Connector (slow, 120V) or install a proper Level 2 charger. This EVIQO NACS 40A is the right answer for Tesla owners who want fast overnight charging without the premium price of a Tesla Wall Connector. At 9.6kW it delivers up to 32 miles per hour — enough to start every day with a full charge regardless of how depleted the battery was the night before.
The native NACS connector eliminates the adapter step entirely, which matters more than it sounds — adapters add a physical failure point over thousands of connection cycles. This charger is built specifically for the Tesla charging experience: plug in at night, full charge by morning, no adapter required.

What you'll need:
- Existing NEMA 14-50 outlet — plug in and charge. No electrician needed if outlet exists.
- New outlet installation — if no outlet exists, a licensed electrician installs a dedicated 50-amp circuit. Typical cost: $200–$500.
- Panel capacity check — confirm available capacity before booking work.

Will this work with a non-Tesla EV?
No. The NACS connector is Tesla-specific. For all other EVs (Ford, GM, Rivian, Hyundai, Kia, BMW, etc.), choose the J1772 version instead.
Is this faster than the Tesla Mobile Connector?
Significantly. The included Mobile Connector charges at 3–5 mph on 120V or up to 30 mph on 240V with an adapter. This charger delivers 32 mph consistently with no adapter needed.
Do I need an electrician?
Only if you don't have a NEMA 14-50 outlet. If the outlet already exists in your garage, this is a plug-and-charge install with no electrician required.
Can I control charging schedule from the Tesla app?
Tesla's scheduled charging works via the car's software regardless of which Level 2 charger you use. The EVIQO app provides additional charger-side controls and energy monitoring.

Tracking information is provided via email once your order ships. We do not currently ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
Returns & warranty
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging. A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns.
