What makes the 600V VOC input significant?
Higher string voltage allows for longer wire runs with less power loss and more flexible array design. Most US-market hybrid inverters max out at 500V VOC — the 600V rating gives installers more design options, especially on larger or more complex installations.

Does TheOne work for both hybrid and off-grid applications?
Yes — it's designed for both. For grid-tied hybrid use, it connects to the utility grid and manages solar, battery, and grid interaction. For off-grid, it operates entirely independent of the grid.

Does the all-in-one design limit future expandability?
Not significantly. TheOne's MPPT handles up to 15kW of PV input, covering most residential and light commercial arrays. Additional MPPT charge controllers can be added to the battery bank in parallel if you exceed that.
