The Rosie is the inverter. What you put in front of it on the DC side — the charge controller — is your choice. This kit ships the Rosie 7,000W pre-wired inverter/charger without a charge controller, for buyers who already own a MidNite Classic, Outback, Morningstar, or other compatible MPPT controller, or who want to specify their own controller for a larger or more complex array than the Classic 150 handles.
The Rosie itself is unchanged: 7,000W continuous output, 15,000W surge, 48V split-phase 120/240V, 60A built-in battery charger for generator input, zero transfer time, dual auxiliary terminals with 15 programmable options each, and auto-generator start. The Midnite Wizbang Jr. with MNGP2 display provides real-time state-of-charge monitoring. Pre-wired design significantly reduces field installation time versus building from individual components.

Why would I choose this over the Rosie + Classic 150 kit?
Choose this kit if you already have an MPPT charge controller, want to use a higher-capacity controller (Classic 250 or Hawke's Bay for larger arrays), or are integrating the Rosie into an existing off-grid system with an established controller.
What charge controllers are compatible?
The Rosie communicates natively via Canbus with MidNite Classic series controllers (Classic 150, 200, 250, Hawke's Bay). Other brands can be used but without Canbus system integration — each component operates independently.
What does "zero transfer time" mean?
The Rosie switches between inverter and pass-through mode instantaneously — there is no detectable gap when transitioning from generator/shore power to battery inverter. Sensitive electronics operate without interruption.
Does the 7-year warranty cover both the inverter and the display?
The 7-year warranty covers the Rosie inverter/charger. Confirm warranty terms for the included Wizbang Jr./MNGP2 display with MidNite Solar directly.

Tracking information is provided via email once your order ships. We do not currently ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
Returns & warranty
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging. A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns.
