Most off-grid inverter kits ship an inverter and a charge controller in separate boxes with separate manuals and leave the wiring integration to the installer. The Rosie + Classic 150 kit is pre-wired — the Rosie inverter/charger and Classic 150 MPPT charge controller are integrated before they ship, which eliminates the most error-prone part of the installation. The Canbus communication link between the two components is configured. The wiring is done. The installer connects battery, PV array, and AC loads.
The Classic 150 MPPT charge controller handles up to 150V VOC PV input with industry-leading MPPT algorithms. Paired with the Rosie's 7,000W continuous / 15,000W surge output and 60A battery charger, the result is a complete off-grid power system for serious homestead applications. Both units are American-made in Arlington, WA.

What is the difference between this kit and the Rosie kit without the Classic 150?
This kit includes the Classic 150 MPPT charge controller pre-wired and Canbus-integrated with the Rosie. The kit without the Classic 150 ships the Rosie inverter/charger only. This pre-wired kit eliminates the controller integration step.
What is the Classic 150's maximum PV VOC?
150V DC. Most 60-cell panels at ~40V Voc can be strung 3 in series (120V) within the 150V limit. Your installer will confirm string sizing for your specific panels and local temperature range.
Does the Rosie have a built-in generator start?
Yes — the Rosie supports auto-generator start via two-wire connection, allowing automatic generator engagement when battery state of charge drops below a set threshold.
Is professional installation required?
Off-grid systems at this power level involve high-current DC wiring. A licensed electrician or solar installer with off-grid experience is strongly recommended.
