At 13kW of PV input capacity, it can handle most residential rooftop arrays. The 12K sits between the 8K and 15K in Sol-Ark's lineup — appropriate for homes that don't need the full 15kW output but want the premium Sol-Ark build quality and 10-year warranty.

What batteries are compatible with the Sol-Ark 12K?
The 12K is compatible with most 48V LiFePO4 and NMC batteries including MidNite Power MNPowerflo, RUiXU, Discover, and others on Sol-Ark's compatibility list. Confirm your specific battery model is on the list before purchasing.
How is the 12K different from the 15K?
The 15K-2P has 15kW output and 19.5kW PV input versus the 12K's 12kW output and 13kW PV input. Choose the 15K if your array exceeds 13kW or your home has high simultaneous load demand. The 12K is sufficient for most residential systems under 13kW of panels.
Does this include battery backup capability?
Yes — the Sol-Ark 12K is a hybrid inverter with automatic transfer to battery backup during grid outages. Backup duration depends on battery capacity and your home's load during the outage.

Returns & warranty
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging. A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns.
