What batteries are compatible with the Sol-Ark 15K?
The 15K is compatible with most 48V LiFePO4 and NMC batteries including MidNite Power MNPowerflo, RUiXU, Discover Helios, and others on Sol-Ark's official compatibility list. Confirm your battery model before purchasing.
When should I choose the 15K over the 12K?
Choose the 15K when your panel array exceeds 13kW, when your home has high simultaneous load demand (large HVAC, EV charging, well pump running together), or when you want headroom for future expansion. The 12K is sufficient for most systems under 13kW.
Can this run my whole home during an outage?
Yes — the 15K-2P outputs 120/240V split-phase, covering both 120V and 240V loads. Backup duration depends on battery capacity and load during the outage. Size your battery bank accordingly.
